Position Janitor/Housekeeper

Role Purpose As a janitor, you are responsible for ensuring a clean, hygienic, and pleasant environment within the facility's premises. The role contributes to a good working environment and a positive impression for both employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities • Daily cleaning of offices, corridors, meeting rooms, kitchens, and sanitary facilities • Vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning of floor surfaces • Wiping down surfaces, furniture, and equipment • Emptying trash cans, waste management, and recycling • Replenishing hygiene and consumable supplies • Periodic cleaning such as deep cleaning, floor care, and window cleaning • Handling cleaning equipment and machines • Reporting deficiencies, damages, or maintenance needs in the premises

Formal Qualifications • Elementary school education or equivalent • Experience in janitorial work or service roles is an asset • Knowledge of cleaning methods, chemical handling, and hygiene routines is an asset • Basic knowledge of Swedish to understand instructions and safety information

Competency Requirements • Ability to work in a structured and efficient manner • Good understanding of hygiene and quality standards in janitorial services • Ability to work independently and take responsibility • Basic knowledge of work environment and safety
