Job Description:
We are looking for an engaged employee for our butcher shop. In this role, you will work with meat cutting, product packaging, and sales to customers over the counter. You are also responsible for keeping the shop clean, organized, and inviting, as well as maintaining ongoing control of stock and product replenishment.
The job involves daily customer contact, so it is important that you are service-oriented and enjoy interacting with people.
Responsibilities include:
- Cutting and handling meat
- Packaging and labeling goods
- Sales and customer service
- Maintaining order and cleaning the shop
- Inventory management and restocking products
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a butcher shop, grocery store, or similar is an asset
- Experience in meat cutting/slaughtering is a plus
- Service-oriented and responsible
- Good work ethic and attention to detail
