Our HSR unit is now seeking a Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation (MAR). The position is a combination role that includes other administrative tasks, certain training initiatives, and development work. Within the HSR unit, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and nursing assistants with extended responsibilities work together.

In the role of Medical Responsible for Rehabilitation (MAR), you have overall responsibility for the quality, safety, and development of the municipality's rehabilitation efforts in line with set goals. The MAR is responsible for patient safety and must actively work to ensure that patients within the municipal health and care services receive high-quality care regarding rehabilitation/habilitation and assistive devices.

The role includes evaluating and following up on the quality of rehabilitation work, supporting management, and providing advice to managers and staff on rehabilitation-related issues, as well as initiating and leading improvement projects within the rehabilitation area. You will also collaborate with internal and external actors such as the Medical Responsible Nurse (MAS), managers, and the region.

The MAR ensures and is responsible for ensuring that rehabilitation efforts comply with current legislation, guidelines, and evidence-based working methods, and that there are appropriate routines and processes for rehabilitation work.

Tasks

In combination with the MAR assignment, you will have certain administrative tasks, work on the development and implementation of health-promoting working methods within rehabilitation, conduct transfer training, and participate in various collaborative forms. You are also part of a quality-developing working group within the social administration. The shared position may imply that clinical work occurs as needed, for example, during the summer period or during high workload in the operation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist or physiotherapist with several years of experience in rehabilitation activities within municipal health and care services. We prefer that you have experience of teamwork, quality and development work, that you are analytical and can switch between complex tasks and operational issues. You work in a structured manner and are self-reliant, and you collaborate well with both internal and external actors.

Since the organization is changing and tasks may vary, it is important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing needs and priorities.

Since the position is new, working methods and structure are largely developed on an ongoing basis, which offers great opportunities to influence and develop the role. The assignment may be adjusted over time depending on political decisions within the area of operation.

Terms

The position is permanent with immediate start. Before employment, a certificate from the police register is required. A B-class driver's license is required for the position.
