KSU, Kärnkraftsäkerhet och Utbildning AB, ensures the competence of Swedish nuclear power plant personnel through both theoretical education and practical training in full-scale simulators. The company is in a development phase, and we see an exciting future in securing competence for long-term and new nuclear power operations.

Operations are conducted from our headquarters in Nyköping as well as from our training facilities located in close proximity to the nuclear power plants in Forsmark, Oskarshamn, and Ringhals. KSU, with approximately 180 employees, is owned by Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB, OKG AB, and Ringhals AB, and is part of the Vattenfall Group, Business Unit Vattenfall Power Solutions (VPS).

About the Role

Who are we at KSU? Our most important task is to educate the operational and maintenance staff of Swedish nuclear power plants.

Today, we contribute to the safe and stable operation of nuclear power, and together with our customers, we create the education of the future. Our training is conducted partly in our full-scale simulators and partly in modern, flexible learning environments, as we have a passion and curiosity for new technology.

We are now looking for a Software Developer who wants to help develop next-generation digital solutions within a growing and innovative business.

About the Job

As a Software Developer, you will become part of a small, dynamic team where collaboration and innovation are at the forefront. You will work on developing, testing, and implementing robust and scalable solutions that meet the needs of both internal and external customers.

Your main responsibilities as a Software Developer in an agile environment include:

• Developing and further developing software solutions
• Testing, implementing, and maintaining systems and products
• Working with databases, network communication, and system integration
• Contributing to continuous improvements of existing solutions
• Creating documentation, manuals, and supporting users

Possible locations are where KSU has training sites, near the three nuclear power plants at Forsmark, Ringhals, and Oskarshamn. KSU's headquarters is in Nyköping, but other locations can be discussed.

Requirements Specification

We are looking for someone who is analytical, curious, and thrives in an environment where not all answers are given from the start.

We are looking for you if you:

• Have experience working as a software developer for a couple of years
• Have knowledge in, for example, JavaScript, C#, or Python
• Have experience with the implementation, configuration, and application of AI models
• Have worked extensively in teams and view Git as a hygiene factor
• Have a relevant university or civil engineering degree in IT/data
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English

It is an advantage if you have experience in:

• Network communication and security
• Authentication and secure system solutions
• 3D graphics, game engines, or CAD

As a person, you are:

• Analytical and solution-oriented
• Structured with a focus on improvement
• Comfortable working in uncertainty and driving work forward
