Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer.

What You Will Work On

• Own and drive the UX strategy for the Internal Developer Portal.
• Design and optimize end-to-end developer journeys (onboarding, CI/CD, deployments, troubleshooting).
• Identify friction points and create streamlined, intuitive workflows.
• Design UX for Backstage plugins and platform components.
• Create interfaces for:
• Software catalog.
• Golden path templates.
• CI/CD and deployment visibility.
• DevSecOps insights (SAST, SCA, SBOM, compliance).
• Infrastructure provisioning.
• Design AI-assisted developer experiences (LLM tools, search, onboarding).
• Ensure transparency, trust, and usability in AI interactions.
• Build and maintain design systems and reusable components.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and workflow analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive adoption and usability improvements.

What You Bring

• 12+ years of experience in UX/Product Design.
• Experience designing for Backstage or similar developer portals.
• Strong understanding of developer workflows and DevOps practices.
• Proven experience designing for complex technical systems.
• Expertise in:
• User research and journey mapping.
• Information architecture.
• Interaction design.
• Prototyping (Figma or similar).
• Design systems.
• Experience simplifying enterprise or platform-level products.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
