We are looking for someone who has a sense of humor and appreciates a bit of innocent mischief now and then.

The service user is a 48-year-old man living in Genarp. He has an intellectual disability and needs his assistants' help to communicate with the outside world, as it can sometimes be difficult for others to understand him.

A mild mobility impairment means he sometimes needs support to maintain his balance, but as his assistant, you need to be quick on your feet, because he can be! He also has epilepsy, which requires the assistant's help during a seizure.

To handle this job, you need to be attentive and responsible. Our member's interests and needs guide the work.

He enjoys, among other things, music (Gessle is the best!), baking, animals, and nature. Job duties include personal care, household chores, driving the user's car, and accompanying him on various activities outside the home.

Experience working with people and knowledge of TAKK (Tandem Augmented Communication) is desirable, but the most important thing is the personal chemistry between you!

You cannot be allergic to furry animals, as there are pets in the home. You must speak and write Swedish fluently. A B-class driver's license is required as driving the user's car is part of the job. Working hours are varied, and shifts including awake nights occur. The position is part-time at 75%.

We are a small cooperative with 23 members who value quality assistance. To achieve this, we advocate a collegial atmosphere with the exchange of knowledge and experience. We have mandatory training sessions where our assistants meet, and we continuously arrange activities for our members. Annually, all employees are invited to a joint activity, and at Christmas, the groups gather separately. Health and well-being are prerequisites for doing a good job, which is why we offer our employees a wellness allowance.

We follow the collective agreement between Fremia and Kommunal.
