Annero Nursing Home is located in the middle of the beautiful island of Visingsö in Lake Vättern. You can easily reach the island by ferry from Gränna harbor, a journey that takes about 25 minutes. The nursing home consists of 8 apartments for specialized care and 4 secure apartments with proximity to green areas, grocery stores, and services. The home care service operates from the same premises.

Your new job

As an hourly or summer substitute with us, you will have a social and varied job. Regardless of where you work, it is about providing support and creating a meaningful daily life for the elderly. You start from the citizen's needs and help them maintain their abilities.

Common tasks include:

• Assistance with personal care, such as dressing and undressing
• Assistance with personal hygiene, such as showering and toilet visits
• Service tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and shopping
• Social activities, such as walks and coffee breaks

Your workday starts at Annero Nursing Home, regardless of whether you work at the nursing home or in home care. At the nursing home, you work closely with regular staff, healthcare personnel, and other substitutes. In home care, you work more independently, but you always have colleagues nearby to consult if needed.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in people and a positive attitude towards your work. You enjoy collaborating and meet other people in a professional and service-oriented manner. The work can sometimes be eventful, and then it is important that you can keep your cool and make wise decisions. The work also involves working alone, which requires you to take your own initiatives, be responsive to others, and take responsibility. We place great importance on your personal suitability for the job!

It is desirable that you have an ongoing or completed education in the nursing program or the children and leisure program, but it is not a requirement. Previous experience of work within care and welfare is also considered a merit.

A B-class driver's license is a requirement for the position. You must be proficient in the Swedish language in speech, writing, and reading comprehension as you need to be able to communicate with citizens, relatives, and colleagues, as well as write and read notes in daily work. You must be confident in using a computer as a tool for documentation, time reporting, etc.

Good to know

We are looking for both hourly substitutes who can work extra with us as needed and summer substitutes for our vacation period, which runs from week 25 to 34. We prefer that you can work at least six weeks in a row during the summer.

As a vacation substitute, you can work full-time or part-time by agreement, during the day, evening, or night, both on weekdays and weekends.

Keep in mind that you need to be able to get to and from the workplace yourself. Public transport is limited in the evenings and on weekends, so it is an advantage if you have access to your own car.
