Your Summer Job

Health and Care Team 11 is part of the Health and Care Function in Jönköping Municipality. The team focuses on citizens in need of palliative care or those requiring extensive care and medical support. There are a total of 19 short-term positions and an engaged team that puts the citizen at the center.

As a nurse assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for the care of the citizens staying with us. You work based on the individual's needs, conditions, and wishes, and perform delegated health and care interventions initiated by licensed personnel. The role also includes documentation in the operational system Combine. Other tasks may also occur. You will work closely with various professional groups such as nurses, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants.

Who are you?

• You are a qualified nurse assistant
• Experience in healthcare and social care is an asset
• If you lack a nurse assistant education but have experience in healthcare and social care or another relevant field, you can work as a care assistant
• You are proficient in Swedish in speech, writing, and reading comprehension, as the role involves communicating with citizens and relatives, reading work-related information, and documenting
• You have good computer skills
• To work with us, you must be at least 18 years old

As a person, you are structured and independent, with the ability to plan your work and make your own decisions. You are flexible and easily adapt when conditions change. It is important that you value and enjoy collaborating and contributing to a good working climate with colleagues.

Your Future Workplace

The Health and Care Function in Jönköping Municipality consists of 13 health and care teams and a home team working with home healthcare and home rehabilitation in both ordinary and special housing. Team 11's short-term positions are located at Ekhagen, close to nature and good transport links; no commuting is required for the job.

Good to Know

The recruitment is for a summer substitute position for our vacation period, extending from week 25 to 34. There is a possibility to start the employment earlier than week 25, with a start date and employment rate according to agreement. We would prefer that you can work for at least six consecutive weeks during the summer.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays and weekends, either day/evening or night. For those who show initiative, there may also be a possibility for continued employment after the summer.

Selection and interviews, as well as the appointment of positions, take place continuously during the application period.

Upon employment, you must submit an approved extract from the police criminal record register in an unopened envelope to the recruiting manager. Order one on the police website at the same time as you submit your application, using the form "Check of own information".
