About the job

We are looking for a music teacher to join Futuraskolan International Hertig Karl on a full-time basis, starting in August. This is a temporary position for the academic year 26/27.

Futuraskolan International Hertig Karl is a small primary school with a global perspective. We have a bilingual English-Swedish focus and are proud to have students and staff from different parts of the world. This creates a dynamic and international environment buzzing with energy and joy. The school has one class for each grade from preschool to grade 9, and we currently have the trust of caring for over 200 students who spend their days with us. The school is located in Rotebro center, Sollentuna, and is easily accessible by bus or commuter train.

Responsibilities

As a music teacher, you will teach all our students from preschool to grade 9, offering a varied and exciting assignment. You have the ability to create a safe social climate and trusting relationships within the group. You believe in every child's ability to learn and use methods that build on each student's experiences and development. Your subject knowledge is good, and you are structured in your work. For you, it is important that students are involved and have influence over their learning. Through self-reflection and feedback from colleagues, students, and parents, you continuously develop your leadership.

As a music teacher, you will also organize graduations and musical performances in connection with various traditions. One of the highlights of the year for music teachers is the Futuraskolan Music Festival, which takes place every spring and brings together students from all Futuraskolan schools for a spectacular performance in front of a large audience.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified music teacher. You feel secure in your role as a teacher and have the ability to create a good working climate in your student groups. You have good collaboration skills and a positive attitude towards your work, which is contagious within the organization.

Conditions

To obtain employment, an extract from the Police Register must be presented.
