Home Care Area 4 is part of the elderly care services, operating from Humlet in central Mariestad. Our two Center Groups work together to provide the best possible support to our wonderful residents! Our home care area is beautifully located, surrounded by greenery along the Tidan river.

We are a team of 30 employees who thrive in our workplace. Our two home care groups are now co-located, which strengthens our sense of community.

We are currently looking for three assistant nurses to start as soon as possible. Are you an attentive and caring person with good teamwork skills? Do you have previous experience in elderly care? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

RESPONSIBILITIES

In your work, you will perform personal care tasks such as dressing and undressing, and assist with toilet and showering situations. You will carry out delegated medical tasks, including medication distribution, venous blood sampling, and wound dressing. Other duties include service tasks, daily chores, and social interaction. The role also involves close collaboration with care planners, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and the unit manager. The work is largely independent, though double staffing also occurs.

We work with fixed care contacts and proxy assignments, giving you the opportunity to grow with the responsibility while being part of the organization's development.

We operate on a 14-week roster with day and evening shifts, and you will work three out of seven weekends. The roster also includes resource shifts to cover absences at other workplaces.

The positions we are seeking consist of one permanent role and two temporary contracts.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, we are looking for an educated assistant nurse, preferably with work experience in home care.

We seek someone who is attentive, positive, and reliable in individual meetings with users, with a good ability to work independently with care tasks. Your inspiring and positive attitude contributes to a good community and joy for both the residents and your colleagues.

You must be flexible, as the work is based on close collaboration with your colleagues. You are expected to be able to step in and support as needed in both groups, as well as in other areas through resource shifts.

We prefer candidates with experience in supporting people with mental health issues. You are expected to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as many of your tasks involve receiving instructions and conveying information correctly and clearly. You should also be digitally proficient with computer and mobile device usage, as we use these as work tools.

A Class B driver's license is an asset.
