Home Care Area 2 in Mariestad is part of the elderly care services and includes the groups Bråten, Lockerud, and Gärdet. Here, 20 employees work to provide the best possible support to our residents! RESPONSIBILITIES

In your work, you will perform personal care such as dressing and undressing, and support with toilet and shower situations. You will carry out delegated medical tasks such as medication distribution, venous blood sampling, and wound dressing. Other tasks include service activities, daily chores, and social interaction. The job also involves close collaboration with care planners, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and the unit manager. The work is largely independent, but double staffing also occurs.

We work with fixed care contacts and representative assignments where you, as an employee, have the opportunity to grow with the responsibility while being part of the organization's development.

We operate on a 7-week roster with day and evening shifts, and you will work three out of seven weekends. The roster also includes resource shifts to cover absences at other workplaces.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, we are looking for a qualified assistant nurse, preferably with work experience in home care.

We seek someone who is attentive, positive, and reliable in individual meetings with users and has a good ability to work independently with care tasks. Your inspiring and positive attitude contributes to a good community and joy for both the residents and your colleagues.

Since the catchment area primarily involves home visits, you must be in good physical health. You must also be flexible because the work is based on close collaboration with your colleagues, where you are expected to step in and support as needed in both groups, as well as in other areas through resource shifts.

We prefer that you have experience in dealing with people with mental health issues. You are expected to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both orally and in writing. This is because many of your tasks involve receiving instructions and conveying information correctly and clearly. You should also be digitally mature in computer and mobile phone usage as we use these as work tools.

A driver's license is an asset.
