You, Us & The Job

As a van driver at PostNord, you are irreplaceable. You find the way, and your job is a journey towards climate-neutral freight transport. Transport is essential to reach all of Sweden, and we take responsibility from south to north, from countryside to city. We work purposefully to reduce our environmental impact, and you will be an important part of this, for example, by being trained in fuel-efficient driving. Together, we work towards becoming fossil-free by 2030.

Are you a student or have another occupation and want to work extra? This is a job for you who are flexible with work shifts that often occur with short notice. You will work between 0 and 39.9% of a full-time position and may be offered evening shifts, Monday to Friday, with varying working hours. You will be based at Bäckaskogsvägen 10, Skövde.

What you will do

• Loading, picking up, and distributing packages.
• Meeting our customers where they are. Whether they are agents, private individuals, or business customers.

Who you are

• Curious and self-reliant: A large part of the job is done alone, but team spirit is important.
• Patient & secure: Life on the road is a mix of calm and stress. You maintain the balance.
• Organized: Smart packing (think puzzle), preparation, and delivery are key words. As are orderliness and punctuality. Our customers should be able to count on you and their shipments arriving on time.
• Physically fit: Yes, you are sedentary during the drive, but you need to be able to lift and carry during pickup and delivery. For this, you need good strength and mobility.
• Adaptable: Unplanned events require flexibility.
• Service-oriented: Customer relations require the right attitude and feeling.
• You are unique: We place great importance on your personal qualities.

What you bring with you

• High school diploma, or currently studying the final year of high school.
• Class B driver's license and experience driving a car.
• Swedish in speech and writing.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and an ability to find solutions.
