Job Description

Here, you will work in a dynamic environment where trains and trucks are constantly arriving and departing. As a terminal worker, you play a crucial role in the daily flow, responsible for ensuring goods are handled safely, efficiently, and with high quality.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Loading and unloading of containers and truck trailers onto and from train wagons and trucks.
• Moving and positioning of containers and truck trailers within the terminal area.
• Forklift driving, primarily with larger container forklifts (Reach Stackers).
• Registration and handling in business systems.
• Customer contact at the gate and during unloading.

Work is done in teams where collaboration, communication, and safety are central parts of everyday life. You become an important cog in a larger machine where every contribution makes a difference. Working hours are scheduled in 2 shifts.

Qualifications

A requirement for the position is forklift licenses A1-4, B1-3, and D1. Having C3A and D2 is an asset. You need experience with counterbalance forklifts; experience driving trucks or wheel loaders is also an asset. A driver's license and access to a car are also required.

As a person, you need to be flexible, meticulous, and have a mindset that safety comes before speed. You appreciate working in a team but are used to taking your own initiatives.
