Do you want to help create a smooth and punctual public transport experience for thousands of passengers every day? Manpower is now looking for Traffic Coordinators for a part-time position with Västtrafik. This assignment involves working during the summer and extra shifts as needed afterwards. Location: Göteborg, Nils Ericson Terminal.
Employment Type: Part-time as needed, weekdays and weekends.
Working Hours: 3-shift system (morning, afternoon, night, and weekends).

Responsibilities

As a Traffic Coordinator, you are a central part of the daily operation of the bus traffic. You ensure punctuality, clear communication, and effective collaboration between traffic actors. Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating bus traffic to and from streets and stops at Nils Ericson Terminal and Åkareplatsen
• Handling calls with bus drivers and other stakeholders
• Displaying departure times in the passenger hall
• Making announcements via the PA system
• Documenting and reporting traffic-related incidents and deviations
• Participating in development and improvement work
• Introducing, training, and supporting new colleagues
• Collaborating with bus companies, terminal hosts, traffic controllers, and security guards
• Coordinating replacement traffic and traffic diversions when necessary

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who works in a structured and communicative manner and can maintain calm even when the pace is high. You have a service-oriented and solution-focused approach and treat both colleagues and passengers with professionalism. Furthermore, you take responsibility for your tasks, show initiative, and lead yourself in a safe and efficient manner in your daily work.

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least a high school education, preferably with a focus on logistics or administration
• Another primary employment of at least 50%
• Good computer skills, preferably experience with Office 365
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
• Ability to work in a structured, communicative, and calm manner even under high pressure
• A service-oriented and solution-focused working style
• Ability to take responsibility and lead yourself in your work
• Class B driver's license

Merits:

• Experience from public transport, transport, or other operational activities

Västtrafik is responsible for public transport throughout the Västra Götaland region and works daily to create sustainable and smooth journeys for over 400,000 passengers.
