Production Operators for the Summer Season Wanted!

Do you have the opportunity to join us for an exciting period? We are currently seeking summer staff for our production team. You will be an important part of our operations, contributing to our goals with quality and efficiency.

Fazer Bakery is one of Sweden's leading bakery companies, with a focus on quality. Here at Klockarbäcken in Umeå, we produce a varied and delicious range of breads – something for every taste! The role involves working on the bakery's production lines as well as packaging in our logistics department.

Responsibilities

The work takes place primarily in an automated production environment where you have overall responsibility for manufacturing. The role requires independence, accuracy, and a strong focus on quality. You must be able to act quickly when changes occur.

Your duties include monitoring, quality control, as well as starting/stopping and adjusting machines during product changeovers – always with a focus on safety, efficiency, and the highest quality.

Working Hours

Period: Mid-May to August.
Shifts: Day/evening/night as production runs 24/7; weekends may also be required.
Requirement: Flexibility and availability throughout the entire assignment period.

Profile

Preferably a B-class driver's license and access to a car, as public transport to the workplace is very limited.
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Responsible, stress-resistant, and proactive.
Experience in food production is an asset.

Employment Type

Fixed-term employment for the summer season. Location: Klockarbäcken, Umeå. We apply the Food Industry Agreement and the supplementary agreement for 2025–2027. Compensation is based on the applicable collective agreement.
