Job Description
Do you want to help create the future of a more sustainable society and work together in a great team to achieve common goals? Then AFRY is the right workplace for you!
We are now looking for a Construction Work Environment Coordinator (Bas-P).
With us, you will be part of a strong team working broadly in community development across the country. We work to create attractive and sustainable cities and communities. Our clients include municipalities, regions, and government agencies as well as private actors.
You will work on assignments together with your colleagues primarily within road and railway projects. The assignments can vary in scope and be in the early stages of the planning process as well as in the later stages such as construction documents to completed facilities.
You will be responsible for coordinating work environment issues in the design phase. The assignment includes identifying risks early, establishing work environment plans, and ensuring coordination between designers.
In the role of Bas-P, your primary task is to assist with your work environment expertise and thus ensure that work environment regulations are followed from an early stage in the project. You coordinate the work environment efforts in the planning and design phase together with designers and engineers to prevent the system and construction documents delivered from posing risks during the construction phase.
The focus of the role is to ensure that the work environment is considered in the solutions that the designers develop, and it is therefore common for you to provide instructions that they should follow.
You will have close collaboration with the design management and participate in design meetings to be given the opportunity to influence work environment issues.
Qualifications
We believe that you who are applying have completed a work environment training for Bas-P according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's guidelines that is a maximum of five years old. You have at least three years of work experience in a role as Bas-P or managing Bas-P in road/railway projects. You have experience in establishing a work environment plan.
To be successful in the role, it is important that you enjoy coordinating and collaborating in a group, as you as Bas-P have continuous dialogue with various actors in the project as well as the client.
You support other consultants and subcontractors and ensure that our deliveries meet the client's requirements and technical standards.
In your role, you work closely with the client, other technical areas, and various stakeholders to create integrated and sustainable solutions that meet the needs of the projects.
We also see that you have good knowledge of the laws, standards, and technical guidelines that govern the industry, and that you can ensure that our projects comply with applicable regulations and maintain high technical quality.
To succeed in the role, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. AFRY is an international company, and you are expected to work in an international environment where English is part of everyday life.
At AFRY, we see ourselves as brave and dedicated team players, something we hope you can relate to.
As a person, you are business-oriented, meticulous, and communicative, with a good ability to lead towards set goals. You thrive in an environment characterized by learning and personal development, where you share your knowledge and experiences.
