If necessary, we will train you when you start your employment as a timber measurer. Your training will take place in close contact with your manager, colleagues, and quality leaders.

Job Description

You will work at Setra Heby, which will also be the stationing location for the position. The working hours are currently daytime Monday to Friday with a working time of 40 hours per week. Your tasks consist of log inspection/measurement as well as other tasks at the measuring station such as some cleaning and administration. As a trained timber measurer, you will be responsible for the daily operations at the measuring station and will have ongoing contact with both drivers and customers. The work should be carried out according to our core values, that is, in a reliable, impartial, and engaged manner. Of course, we do it together!

You are engaged, professional, trustworthy, and have a keen eye for improvement opportunities to make your job better in everyday life. Furthermore, you need to be comfortable working in practical handling and in digital systems and be able to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A prerequisite for the position is that you have a B driver's license and access to your own car.

Desirable/meritorious

Knowledge of forestry and experience in timber measurement is considered meritorious, as well as being able to communicate in English, but this is not a requirement.
