We are currently looking for summer workers at Nouryon in Örnsköldsvik.

Production

MA:

Daytime positions involving loading and unloading product pallets and cellulose with a 3-ton forklift. You will be responsible for simple administration in SAP and MES as well as planning for the day and week. Shift work in the packaging department involves product mixing and transporting pallets to the warehouse, working in ABB and SAP. If necessary, you will support colleagues to ensure a smooth production flow.

CD:

Work in cellulose grinding, washing/drying, and bio-purification. You will maintain production according to plan, monitor processes, perform rounds, operate forklifts, and work on improvements according to applicable standards and safety requirements. The position can be daytime or shift work.

Laboratory Operator:

You will analyze batch samples and mix products in MES. Experience in laboratory work and good computer skills are advantageous. The work takes place during the day or in shifts in close collaboration with the shift teams, which requires flexibility. High school education is required, preferably with a technical focus such as process, control engineering, chemistry, or mechanics. Forklift license and knowledge of chemistry are advantageous.

Maintenance

Mechanic:

You will work with maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and measures to ensure a well-functioning production facility. The work takes place during the day. Industrial or automotive education is desirable.

Automation Technician:

You will ensure operations through maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive work in electrical, instrumentation, and automation. High school education in electrical or control technology, preferably with a focus on automation, is desirable. Practical experience is advantageous.

Warehouse:

You will be responsible for goods reception, dispatch, and order in the warehouse. Forklift license and experience with SAP are advantageous.

Logistics

As a material planner, you will work with inventory management, planning, ordering, and delivery monitoring with the support of SAP and MES. You will make forecasts, inventory stock, handle deviations, and detail plan raw material intake for production. Ongoing education in industrial economics or logistics is desirable.

Laboratory

As a laboratory technician, you will perform quality controls of samples, collect water samples, conduct environmental analyses, and calibrate equipment. You will report in MES/Fabsys. A scientific or technical education is required. Laboratory experience and good computer skills are advantageous.

Other Qualifications (applicable to all roles)

• You are responsible, meticulous, and enjoy working in a team
• You are attentive, have a positive attitude, and are practically inclined
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Availability for work between June 1 and August 31
• You must be at least 18 years old according to labor environment legislation
• At least high school education is required
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities
• For laboratory positions, it is advantageous if you are a university student
• For certain roles in production, a forklift license and experience in similar tasks are advantageous

Good to Know

The summer jobs are temporary vacation replacements during all or parts of the period from June to August. Work for all roles takes place at Nouryon in Örnsköldsvik. Some mandatory introduction and training may take place before the summer.
