The Elderly Care (ÄO) is one of four areas within the Social Administration. It is our largest operation with about 700 employees and includes housing, home care, activation, and assistance handling. Elderly care collaborates on various issues with different areas, administrations, regions, and authorities. Our value foundation is important – it shapes everything we do and serves as our guiding star.

We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team. As a nursing assistant at Kastanjegården, you will work some days in the special accommodation and some days in home care. You will be part of a work team with a unit manager, personnel planner, nursing assistants, care assistants, and service staff. Together, we conduct close teamwork with nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and district doctors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant, you report directly to the unit manager. The work involves being user-focused and performing approved care and service interventions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and health care interventions according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) for our users. Kastanjegården is a special accommodation with eight places divided between somatic and dementia care. The staff group is also responsible for performing home care services in a geographical area around Bockara according to planning. We are developing a working method where everyday rehabilitation and activation for those living at Kastanjegården is a natural part of daily life. There may also be healthcare tasks delegated by a nurse.

The value foundation in the Social Services Act is an important tool in our work group. Our starting point is always the individual and their well-being.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and preferably has experience from similar operations. As a person, you are open, self-assured, and have a professional demeanor. You have analytical skills and are positive. You have a good ability to see the whole picture and each individual’s conditions and needs. You are attentive, have good collaboration skills, and are flexible and adaptable to current circumstances. You thrive in a fast-paced work environment with joy.

Documentation is a recurring element via our data systems, so you need to be able to communicate well in spoken and written Swedish.
