Description

The residence is part of the county's state representation and is used for official receptions, visits, and events. The operation is characterized by sustainability, quality, and care. To ensure a well-functioning execution of our events, we are looking for part-time serving staff who can contribute to a safe, structured, and welcoming hospitality. Since our assignments vary throughout the year, the work is hourly based and can be combined with studies or self-employment.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will serve at official events, dinners, and receptions. You will prepare table settings and serving stations, ensure that the premises are in order, and work according to applicable rules and etiquette. During events, you will work closely with kitchen staff and other functions to create a well-coordinated flow. You will greet guests in a professional manner and contribute to a safe and welcoming atmosphere. After the event, you will participate in clearing and restoring the premises.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• several years of experience in serving
• knowledge of and interest in food and beverages
• knowledge of serving rules/etiquette
• good communication skills in Swedish
• good knowledge of English

It is an advantage if you also have:

• beverage training
• experience in barrel serving

You are meticulous and service-oriented, with the ability to adapt to different situations and collaborate well with others. You work in a structured manner even when the pace is high and treat guests and colleagues in a professional and respectful way.
