We at the service department are looking for two chefs! At least one of them will work as a pool chef. This means being flexible and working in several different environments with a lot of variety.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of chef, you will participate in varied tasks in the daily work in a large kitchen. Your tasks will include preparing lunches and accompaniments for lunches, as well as serving meals. Other tasks may include unpacking incoming deliveries. Additionally, post-work in the kitchen such as washing dishes and cleaning is included. Some documentation within the kitchen may occur. An important part of the job is the professional interaction with diners, colleagues, and striving for positive collaboration with other staff groups within the unit where you work. You will have ongoing contact with the unit manager, who is also your closest supervisor. Important focus areas for all employees in the Service Department are customer awareness, collaboration, dialogue, and quality.

The position is a permanent employment.

If needed, temporary work may occur in another kitchen within the organization.

In the role of pool chef, the following applies:

• You will work in School kitchens
• Preschool kitchens
• Elderly care kitchens

We are looking for someone who is interested in practically participating in the development of meals for our diners in schools, preschools, and care to new levels.

As a pool chef, you will have varied tasks in the daily work in the kitchen. Each day you will be booked via your mobile phone to the kitchen where you will work for the day. Therefore, the work means that you will work in both solo kitchens and team kitchens. Your tasks will include preparing and cooking breakfast, lunch, snacks, and serving meals. Additionally, post-work in the kitchen such as washing dishes and cleaning and receiving goods deliveries is included. You will be responsible for self-control, purchasing raw materials, and some contact with suppliers. Administrative tasks include receiving invoices, which requires computer skills. You will work closely with the unit manager, who is also your closest supervisor.

Since you can be booked in all our kitchens, you are required to have a driver's license and access to your own car every day.

You who apply for the position are confident in your professional role in the kitchen and have an easy time creating good relationships with others. You will often be alone in the kitchen where you work for the day, which requires you to be self-sufficient and flexible. You have good planning skills and can see the whole picture of the assignment. You have a strong commitment that contributes to creating positive dining experiences for our diners in preschools, schools, and elderly care.

You need a driver's license and access to your own car to work as a pool chef.

QUALIFICATIONS

To qualify for the position, you must have a 3-year restaurant and food education or something that the employer deems equivalent.

Qualifications:

• Necessary knowledge of meal service in large kitchens is an advantage
• Previous experience working in large kitchens is an advantage
• Good knowledge of food hygiene is a requirement
• Good computer skills are an advantage
• Fluent in speaking and writing Swedish is a requirement for the safety of our guests regarding allergies, etc.
• Valid B driver's license is a requirement
• It is an advantage if you have previous experience with meal data systems such as Mashie.
