Care Assistants Wanted at Hallonhöjden

Hallonhöjden is a safe and fresh residence located adjacent to Hallonbergen center, consisting of four floors with a total of 56 apartments. Here, both somatic care and dementia care are provided. Sundbyberg city’s elderly care is certified according to ISO 9001:2015, which is a tool for effective quality management.

In addition to nurses, care staff, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, we also have an assistant unit manager/quality coordinator, operations coordinator, and activity leader. We also collaborate closely with both a music therapist and the Elderly Team with a therapy dog.

We are now looking for several care assistants for summer vacancies. It is desirable that you can work throughout the summer and into September.

As a care assistant, you will work with your colleagues to ensure that the elderly residents at Hallonhöjden receive good care and have pleasant days with enjoyable meals and activities.

Your tasks include personal care and assistance, household chores, activities, conversations, and meetings based on the elderly's interests, needs, and wishes, documentation, and contact with relatives.

Qualifications

• We require you to have completed high school education in the nursing program.
• You have obtained proof of protected professional title Care Assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
• You must have good computer skills and experience with social documentation.
• Experience in dementia care.

A large part of our operations is classified as essential services. The position may be subject to military placement within the framework of Sundbyberg city’s role in total defense.
