Welcome to us

Sätra care and nursing home is a Silviahem-certified facility with 120 places, specialized in dementia, cognitive impairment, and Huntington's disease. Of these places, 24 are focused on social psychiatry. We also offer daytime activities for people with dementia. In 2015, Sätra care and nursing home received Stockholm City's quality award and has since continued to develop our palliative care philosophy and our quality processes to become a leader in dementia care.

We are looking for you who want to work in the summer

We need substitutes from week 24 until week 35.

Your role

Sätra care and nursing home is a residence for elderly people with dementia. We work according to the palliative value philosophy and also have four specialized units for frontal lobe dementia, Huntington's, and social psychiatry. With us, you will work with care and support, ensuring that the users receive the best possible quality of life by supporting and activating them in their daily lives. It is important to us that each individual has a meaningful everyday life, and you play an important role in that!

You will work during the summer as needed or according to a schedule during the day, evening, weekend, or night.

Your skills and experience

It is a requirement that you master Swedish in speech and writing and that you are 18 years old. It is an advantage if you have nursing assistant training or previous experience working with care for people. We also see that you have experience with documentation.

We are looking for responsible employees who want to work in elderly care and always have the user in focus. Even as a substitute, you are expected to take full responsibility for the tasks to be performed during a work shift. A positive attitude, self-motivation, good collaboration skills, and service orientation are qualities we value in our summer substitutes.

Time: Drop-in is between 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM.

Location: Sätra care and nursing home, Frösätrabacken 7 C in Sätra (administration).

To attend a recruitment meeting, you must have submitted your application via the application link in the ad. No other registration is required.

Bring valid ID, CV, and contact information for references. You should also be prepared to show a criminal record extract from the police and possibly a work permit and residence permit.

During the recruitment day, you will undergo a written test and meet a representative from the organization for a brief interview. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the afternoon, and you may need to wait for your turn due to a limited number of people in the premises.

You can choose which of the dates suits you to attend the recruitment day.
