About Medevi Brunn
Medevi Brunn is the oldest health resort in the Nordic countries, founded in 1678 by Urban Hjärne and Baron Gustaf Soop. The place is known for its health-giving water and has a long history as Sweden's/Nordic's first spa resort. Medevi Brunn is located in Motala Municipality, Östergötland, and today offers an authentic spa environment with over 70 historical buildings. Medevi Brunn offers a varied accommodation with 61 rooms that can accommodate a total of 120 people. The accommodation ranges from simpler hotel rooms to suites with their own lounge. All rooms have their own charm and are spread across several buildings in the spa area, each with its own special history.

About the position
There is a great variation in the role's content throughout the year as the business's occupancy is currently uneven, with very high occupancy in the summer and low during other times. You will initially work closely with our actively involved board members, as well as with our engaged management team, which we will expand in line with you. So, we need to secure 2026, i.e., planning for the summer season with staff and partners. Of course, continuously develop our business forward, but first things first.

Job Responsibilities, this is how we start:
• Responsible for the hotel's daily operations and ensuring that guests receive a high-quality experience at our destination
• Coordinate events, programs, weddings, and dinners together with F&B Management and other heroes in our organization
• Staff planning
• Handle bookings and new guest inquiries in consultation with our departments
• Plan and execute weddings, conferences, and other events with precision and creativity together with the head chef and F&B team. Yes, as mentioned above, it is about securing our bookings now and then looking ahead. First things first.
• Collaborate and coordinate staff and service delivery between our various departments to ensure unique guest experiences.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Create new documentation for invoicing and administration related to bookings and events.
• Drive sales, marketing, and the creation of packages and offers. Influence, decision-making, and execution, you know how to do this.

And most importantly: Long-term thinking, the journey forward. Our ambitions are high, and we will invest and your entrepreneurial spirit should balance commerce and culture. Our positioning in Scandinavia will, of course, in the long run, again become attractive to an international audience.

We are looking for someone who:
• Is service-oriented, meticulous, and structured with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Has good networks in the industry, preferably internationally
• Is accustomed to working with the latest technology
• Is creative and solution-oriented with a positive attitude
• Leads with proximity to service production, operationally and present
• Is a long-term entrepreneur who likes to take space and knows how to develop and ensure that things happen

Education, knowledge, and experience, you/they know what is required… surprise us.

Goals and conditions:
Initially, collaborate operationally with our staff on-site to secure, develop, and price profitable arrangements and themes that appeal to our guests and are also profitable. Packaging is the focus. The booking situation is good; we need to service-secure that first.

Result responsibility entails a significant responsibility for planning, executing, and following up on the goals set for the business. This includes ensuring that the financial goals are met, that events and bookings are carried out with high quality, and that customer satisfaction is always in focus. This also requires constantly analyzing and improving processes to optimize the business and having good communication with all parties involved. Through clear goals and structured follow-up, we create the conditions for success and build long-term relationships with our customers.
