The Swedish Armed Forces exist to protect Sweden, and our mission requires a wide range of activities. We are currently seeking personnel who want to work under a fixed-term assignment in Latvia, where you will have the opportunity to develop personally and professionally.
NSE, National Support Element
NSE is a unit within the Swedish troop contribution to MNB-LVA (Multi National Brigade-Latvia) that the Southern Skåne Regiment P 7 is staffing, and which will support the Swedish Battalion on site in Latvia with logistics.
NSE will support the Swedish battalion with national logistics, supply management, transportation, cargo handling, and warehousing. NSE serves as the point of contact for support from the Logistics Unit at P 7 Revingehed and the rear support in Sweden at FMLOG.
Main Responsibilities
As C LednA at NSE, you will be responsible for the leadership's work involving staff work encompassing analysis, preparation, planning, implementation, and follow-up of NSE's assigned tasks in the areas of supply management, technical service (material maintenance), and transportation. This also includes the responsibility to provide directives both within the unit and to referred units regarding logistics. The work is carried out both individually and in collaboration with others. The role involves being the head of the Command Department with 12 employees at the Swedish NSE.
The work will primarily be conducted in the fall of 2026 at P 7 Revingehed during a preparation phase and in the spring of 2027 on site in Latvia.
The work in Latvia will be conducted in a multinational context with daily collaboration with other nationalities.
Qualifications
- Officer or Reserve Officer, or another leadership role within the Armed Forces that the employer deems equivalent
- Good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish and English
- Driving license category B
- Good computer skills

Meritorious
- Good knowledge of the Armed Forces' logistics systems.
- Knowledge of the Armed Forces' accounting systems LIFT/PRIO
- Logistics training in supply management and technical service.
- Previous work as a staff officer in logistics.
- Previous work as a staff officer in an international staff.
- Completed military service abroad.

The Southern Skåne Regiment is also known as P 7. P stands for armor as the regiment primarily uses armored vehicles. We conduct military basic training for conscripts in ground combat, mechanized, and motorized combat with the support of our main vehicles: Stridsvagn 122, Stridsfordon 9040C, and Pansarterrängbil 360.
P 7 has full-time and part-time staff serving in their various positions nationally and internationally.
