Care Assistants and Specialist Care Assistants Wanted

Do you want to help create a safe and meaningful everyday life for our elderly? We work together to provide our residents with good care and quality of life. We are looking for care assistants and specialist care assistants who want to work night or day shifts.

Four of the positions are permanent and one is temporary for one year.

Marielund's care and nursing home has 50 apartments, 20 of which are designated for dementia care. The facility is centrally located in Eskilstuna with good transport links. The Care and Nursing Administration employs approximately 3000 staff who together ensure that the elderly and people with disabilities in Eskilstuna receive the care and support they need.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work in a motivating and supportive manner, providing our elderly with a meaningful, safe, and active everyday life. You will provide support and services based on each person's individual needs. You will collaborate with nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, and as a contact person, you have an important role in creating a good quality of life for the residents. In this role, you will have delegation, work with personal care and documentation, and assist residents with their household chores. We work with digital methods where you document in Viva and sign delegations in Appva.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a trained care assistant with several years of experience in elderly care with people suffering from dementia. If you are a specialist care assistant or are about to finish your specialist training, you are also welcome to apply. It is of course an advantage if you have training in dementia care. You are accustomed to administering medications and insulin, documenting, and creating implementation plans. If you have previously held a representative role and want to contribute to improvements, that is a positive aspect. This is a position for you who are driven, responsible, and have a genuine interest in working with the elderly. We welcome your application!

Information about protected title: To be eligible for a permanent position, you need to provide proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
