Smartoptics is expanding and is now looking for a warehouse operator for their Operations team in Kista. In this role, you will work in the warehouse with receiving and organizing incoming goods, ensuring that deliveries are handled correctly, and maintaining accurate system records. You play a crucial role in keeping their production and logistics running smoothly and reliably.

As a warehouse operator, you are responsible for keeping the warehouse well-organized and structured. The role includes managing material flows, receiving and registering incoming and outgoing goods, warehouse management, as well as picking and packing orders.

You will check incoming deliveries, register information in their ERP system, and ensure that data and documentation are correct and updated according to company procedures.

• Receive and unload incoming deliveries and check that shipping documents are correct.

• Ensure that goods are registered and stored correctly in the warehouse.

• Inspect delivered goods to ensure quality and condition.

• Report any damages or discrepancies according to company procedures.

• Register all warehouse transactions, including receipts and deliveries, in the ERP system.

• Ensure that all system data is correct and updated.

• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve warehouse discrepancies.

• Support warehouse checks and inventories to ensure accurate stock status.

• Pick and pack outgoing orders and ensure they are correctly labeled and ready for delivery.

• Deliver materials to the appropriate departments within the organization.

• Ensure correct documentation of internal deliveries.

You are also:

• comfortable working in an environment where the pace can sometimes be high

• Experience working in a warehouse or material handling

• Good understanding of ERP systems and warehouse processes (experience with SAGE X3 is a plus)

• Knowledge of receiving controls and packing processes

• Forklift license or experience driving forklifts is a plus

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
