We are looking for a responsible, flexible, and social school caretaker who wants to contribute to a safe, well-functioning, and pleasant school environment for students and staff. As a school caretaker, you are an important part of the school's service function and work closely with the daily operations.

Job Responsibilities

As a school caretaker, you are responsible for the daily operations and ongoing maintenance of the school's premises and outdoor environment. Common tasks include:

Property Management and Maintenance

• General supervision of the school's premises, schoolyard, and building
• Supervision and maintenance of indoor and outdoor environments
• Repairs and maintenance of a simpler nature and contact with partners for ordering larger jobs
• Responsible for the school's fault reporting system and addressing reported issues
• Maintenance of furniture and equipment, including assembly and furnishing of rooms as needed

Technical Service

• Responsible for the school's alarm and locking systems as well as handling keys and access cards
• Control of technical equipment
• Maintenance of heating and ventilation systems (e.g., simple supervision, filter changes, and reporting faults)

Logistics and Service

• Handling and receiving deliveries
• Transporting materials and equipment within the school grounds
• Purchasing materials related to repairs and maintenance

Safety and Interaction

• Be available to assist students and staff with practical needs that arise in daily life
• Contribute to a safe and pleasant school environment through presence and good interaction
