About the unit:
The Logistics Unit Stockholm is a unit at the Life Guards that supports military units from the operational locations of Stockholm, Solna, and Kungsängen.
The unit currently consists of a Staff, a Technical Department, a Supply Department in Stockholm, a Supply Department in Kungsängen, and a Mobilization Department. The Logistics Unit contributes to a stronger defense force through well-functioning logistics, unit-related storage, supply management, and ordering of material maintenance in peace, during readiness increases, and in war. The Armed Forces, and particularly the Logistics Unit Stockholm, are growing in several areas.
As an employee of the Armed Forces, we offer:
- Three hours of physical training per week during working hours
- 28-35 vacation days/year depending on age

Main tasks
Daily tasks at a goods reception and storage
- Lead and develop the work team together with the section manager
- Plan, lead, and follow up on the implementation of supply management within your section and area of responsibility under the section manager
- Lead the development, maintenance, and decommissioning of production and production resources within the work team
- Conduct accounting of supplies in the Armed Forces' accounting system
- Daily tasks in storage. Receive, store, issue, and inventory materials
- Be responsible for ordering/directing goods
- Be responsible for customer contact with the various units together with the section manager
- Participate in other functions, networks, and activities as a natural task in an organization with distributed delegation
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Approved upper secondary education
- Driving license B (manual)
- Good leadership skills
- Very good experience working in digital environments
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Experience handling the Armed Forces' accounting system Lift/Prio
- Forklift license
- Ordering competence

You will work in a team, so we prefer that you can collaborate well with others and have good camaraderie, but also be able to work independently and take your own initiative and responsibility. As a person, you are organized, flexible, meticulous, and loyal. In the selection process, great importance will be placed on personal qualities.

The Life Guards is one of the largest units in the Armed Forces with roots dating back to 1521. We train tomorrow's soldiers, as well as military police and personnel who will carry out international missions. We guard the royal palaces, have security and ground combat units. We are also responsible for preserving and developing Swedish military music tradition. Our headquarters is in Kungsängen outside Stockholm, but we are also located in Sollentuna, central Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg, and Karlskrona.
