Infrastructure Specialist at Region Halland

About the Role

You will work alongside a group of highly skilled specialists in the operation and management of Region Halland's IT infrastructure, ensuring that critical environments function with a strong sense of responsibility.

This is a technically advanced operation, and it is essential to continually be competent enough to meet challenges, monitor the external environment, and stay up-to-date.

We work with development, operation, management, and lifecycle management for the areas the group is responsible for. We also serve as third-line support for issues that arise from our operations. You will be an important cog in our team and help develop our services.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Participate in project work
• Plan and prepare systems/applications for deployment
• Installations, upgrades, and deployment of software and hardware

About the Workplace

As a Senior Infrastructure Technician at Region Halland, you will have the opportunity to work in a highly developing, advanced, and modern environment in one of Sweden's most vital community services. We are a close-knit team of twenty-five people who are part of our operations organization.

About You

We prefer that you have previous and solid experience in the field and possess knowledge at a more advanced level. It is also important that you have a natural curiosity to investigate complex dependencies and work with root cause analysis to find the underlying cause of problems.

Specifically, we want you to have:

• Documented and practical experience with Windows Server 2019/2022
• Documented and practical experience with Linux - Ubuntu
• Documented and practical experience with SQL
• Good knowledge of PowerShell as a scripting language
• Knowledge of VDI platforms, Omnissa Horizon or equivalent
• Knowledge of Certificates and Certificate Management/PKI
• Documented and practical experience with Structure and Access Models in AD, DNS, and Group Policies

As a person, you are driven and engaged, interested in developing yourself and the organization. You are solution-oriented, see opportunities, and contribute to a positive collaborative climate. You have good analytical skills and are skilled in informing and documenting. We see that you are a good communicator both in writing and verbally. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
