About Us

Öknaskolan is an agricultural high school with approximately 250 students, of which 160 live in the school's dormitory. The school offers agricultural education in farming, gardening, horse management, animal care, and nature tourism. The school also offers introductory programs and adapted upper secondary school. Region Sörmland is the main authority for Öknaskolan.

Your Responsibilities

The job involves working in a team with other service staff to manage cleaning tasks for all of Öknaskolan's facilities. These facilities include classrooms, machine halls, offices, dormitories, stables, and animal houses, etc. The work is carried out together with other cleaners, but solo work may also occur. Other service-related tasks may also be included, such as tasks in the school's kitchen and cooking area.

Your Qualifications

We are now looking for someone who:
• Is at least 18 years old and has a high school education in the service profession.
• Has previous experience in school cleaning and floor care.
• Masters the Swedish language very well in speaking, reading comprehension, and writing.
• Is social and enjoys interacting with young people, staff, and animals.
• Is dedicated: For you, it is natural to be a representative of the cleaning service. You build relationships with our youth and colleagues, are trustworthy, and have the ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Has a service mindset: You understand the importance of striving for good service and a desire to work towards high quality and service standards.
• A driver's license and car are required.
• Is not allergic to animals as you will be in environments with many animals.

Employment Type

Permanent employment with start date according to agreement. A probationary period (6 months) may be applicable. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
