We are looking for driven and meticulous blasters, heat treaters, and grinders for a well-established foundry in Kvicksund! Do you have experience in surface treatment and processing of metal or aluminum components and thrive in a dynamic production environment? Then this could be the job for you!

About the position: As a blaster, heat treater, and grinder through us, you will be an important part of the production team at a well-established industry in Kvicksund. Your main tasks include blasting, heat treatment, grinding, and processing of aluminum and metal components. You will work in a fast-paced and varied environment where accuracy, sense of form, and safety are in focus. We are looking for someone who is flexible, technically interested, and physically fit, ready to take on new challenges in a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Blasting aluminum and metal components to prepare surfaces for further processing or surface treatment.

• Heat treatment of metal components according to established processes and specifications.

• Grinding and finishing of details to achieve the correct shape and surface quality.

• Inspection of components to ensure accuracy, dimensional stability, and sense of form.

• Handling of machines and equipment within surface treatment and processing.

• Ensuring that the workplace is kept clean and organized and following safety procedures.

• Collaborating with colleagues to achieve production quality and time goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in blasting, heat treatment, or grinding of metal or aluminum components.

• Good understanding of sense of form, precision, and surface finish.

• Technical interest and ability to handle machines and equipment safely.

• Meticulous, structured, and quality-conscious in your work.

• Good physical condition and ability to work at the pace required in production.

• Flexible and cooperative, with a willingness to learn new tasks.

• Desirable: experience in a production environment within the metal industry or manufacturing processes.

Working hours:  Night shift

Scope: Full-time

Salary: According to collective agreement

Start: Immediately, considering any notice period

Other: You will be employed by us and work for our client, with the possibility of direct employment with the client after the hiring period.
