We are now looking for a local strategist for Sala Municipality.

About the assignment

The assignment is part-time with an estimated scope of 50%. Start date is 260401 and is expected to last until 261231. The assignment will primarily be performed on-site, but a portion can be done remotely.

Your responsibilities

• Develop and be responsible for the municipality's local supply plan and the local needs plans of the operations

• Lead and coordinate the municipality's strategic property group and working groups

• Work closely with and support the operations, ensuring that their local needs are considered in the early stages of planning

• Support the operations with local adaptations, closures, and new acquisitions

• Be responsible for statistical data, policies and guidelines, digital systems, and instructions that support the local supply work

• Drive local issues and be responsible for preparing matters for the municipal executive board, ensuring that decision-making documents are well-founded, clear, and in line with the municipality's strategies

• Conduct preliminary studies and investigations on behalf of the municipal management.

Your qualifications

• Relevant higher education, such as civil engineering, business administration, or other equivalent education/experience

• At least two years of experience in process and project management as well as strategic coordination of local or property development projects

• Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish

Meritorious

• Experience in preparing materials for political committees and presenting information and matters to political committees

• Previous work as a local strategist or in a similar strategic role

• Good knowledge of various municipal operations and their local needs

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for local design and property law
