About the role
As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping Mälarplast AB's future business. You have a passion for finding innovative solutions and love working in an international environment where English is our corporate language. With your ability to understand both customer needs and technical possibilities, you will be a key player in our continued success. This role suits you if you enjoy taking significant personal responsibility, driving business from idea to delivery, and building long-term customer relationships.
The focus is on two areas:
Develop and nurture key customers
You will work closely with our strategic customers and ensure they receive the right solution, right quality, and right delivery — three areas where Mälarplast excels through both technical competence and industry-leading delivery reliability.
Prospect new customers and markets
You will actively drive prospecting, identify new business opportunities, and take responsibility for the entire business journey from first contact to contract, negotiation, and follow-up.
Here, you will work closely with production, technology, and development — in an organization that has both deep roots and a tangible drive forward.
We believe that you:
Are business-driven, self-sufficient, and have documented experience in B2B sales
Are skilled at finding new customers, building relationships, and driving business to completion
Have experience in negotiation, contracts, and contract management
Enjoy working closely with technology and production, and have an easy time understanding technical solutions
Have a background in industry, production, or technology-related roles
Hold an academic degree in engineering, industrial economics, or a similar field
Sustainability – an integrated part of the business
