The Technical and Community Service Administration is a broad and socially important workplace where many competencies collaborate. Here we work with the entire community building process – from regulatory activities and planning to project implementation, operation, and service.

We have operations in environmental health, building permits, land surveying, projects, operations, maintenance, water and waste, as well as cleaning and meals. Within the administration, there are administration, development issues, and GIS, which support the operations and contribute to coordination, quality, and long-term development.

The Water & Waste Management area is responsible for all activities concerning water and sewage services as well as waste management within the municipalities of Motala and Vadstena.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your placement will be in the operations unit of the waste management unit, where you will work on the garbage truck and in the unit's container service group.

The tasks vary, which means that in addition to waste collection with the garbage truck and work in the container service group, you may also perform other tasks within the waste management unit as needed and according to your competence.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in this position, you should take initiative and have good physical fitness. Since you will be working in contact with our customers, you should have a good sense of service and the ability to make independent decisions. You should be able to work alone as well as in a team. Of course, you must have an interest and preferably experience in waste and recycling operations. You must have a C driver's license, valid YKB, and experience in professional traffic.
