The welfare sector consists of four operations: disability services, home care and home health care, individual and family care, as well as nursing and care homes.

We have five nursing and care homes located in different areas of the municipality. Solrosen and Ryttershov are found in the beautiful central parts of Ulricehamn, while Ekero, Parkgården, and Hökerumsgården are located in the nature-close outskirts of the municipality.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone with a genuine commitment to creating a safe and dignified everyday life for the individuals living in our nursing and care home. With us, you will become an important part of the team and contribute to providing care with quality and compassion.

The work involves care and support tasks as well as delegated health and medical tasks. During your shift, you will be responsible for your own department but will collaborate with colleagues as needed. Since parts of the work are performed independently at night, you need to feel comfortable working alone.

Your tasks include personal care, cleaning, laundry, medication management, and being available for residents as needed. The work also includes participating in workplace meetings and other gatherings. You will work according to a rotating schedule that includes shifts in both the somatic department and the dementia department.

We want our employees to feel good, both at work and outside of it. Therefore, Ulricehamn Municipality offers, among other things, wellness grants.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant. It is an advantage if you also have training as a mental health worker and experience with night work. If you have previously worked in service professions or have experience in elderly care, dementia care, or psychiatry, we consider that valuable. You need to feel comfortable working with delegated health and medical tasks.

In Ulricehamn Municipality, many of our employees speak multiple languages, which we see as an asset. For the position, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and feel comfortable with documentation and digital work tools.

As a person, you are secure, responsible, and can work independently. You easily adapt to different situations and treat both users and colleagues with respect and a positive attitude. Collaboration is an important part of the work, and you enjoy being part of a team.
