We are now looking for a CEO who can take the company into the next phase – with clear priorities, strengthened implementation capacity, and increased regional impact.

Your responsibility will be to, together with the organization, gather and prioritize work around a number of strategically important areas to create greater impact. You will ensure the right competencies and clear priorities and build upon the momentum that exists within the organization.

You will represent the company in dialogue with owners, businesses, and partners, and continue to strengthen trust in Samarkand2015 as a regional development actor.

The role combines strategic responsibility with operational presence – you create structure, follow up on decisions, and drive development forward together with employees.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with documented experience in leading operations in complex environments where multiple stakeholders collaborate.

Key factors for success in this role include the ability to translate overarching ambitions into a limited number of prioritized key areas - and to unite the organization behind them. At the same time, you have a strong social commitment and a good understanding of regional development issues.

As a person, you create direction and trustworthy relationships through clear communication and trust. You drive change with perseverance and can demonstrate results that have had a real impact on working methods and structure. You enjoy challenging established patterns, taking a holistic view, and contributing to making the organization perceived as relevant and value-creating over time.

You have a relevant academic degree or other experience deemed equivalent.
