The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at various stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services that are based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This may involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting people with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference in people's everyday lives while being part of a professional and caring organization.

As a care assistant, you will provide care and social support to individuals in need of our services. You will work based on individual implementation plans and be responsible for planning, executing, and following up on services that promote the individual's independence, safety, and well-being.

Your tasks will include:

• Personal care and support in daily life
• Health and medical tasks as delegated
• Documentation in digital systems
• Support for relatives and collaboration with colleagues and other professionals

The work is scheduled with a constant weekend shift of Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday, as well as Wednesdays every third week when we have staff meetings. You will work 30 hours/week, which is a full-time measure.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a care assistant, you need a combination of professional knowledge, responsibility, and respectful interaction. You enjoy collaborating but are also confident in working independently. Your commitment and sensitivity to the needs of others are crucial for success in this role.

We also expect you to have:

• Approved care assistant education with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• A driving license is required for most home care services. Some home care groups use bicycles instead, so you must be able to ride a bike.

Experience in elderly care is an advantage.
