We are looking for a person to help maintain two properties in the Värmdö area. This is a seasonal position starting in April/May and lasting until September/October.

The role initially involves one full day per week, with the possibility of additional hours if needed. A professional gardener will also be on site once a week.

The work includes a main residence in Gustavsberg and a summer house near Siggesta Harbor (located on an island). When work is required on the island, transport by boat will be arranged from Siggesta Guest Harbor.

You do not need to be an expert in gardening, but you should be comfortable handling machinery and be willing to learn. Most importantly, we value initiative and the ability to see what needs to be done.

Responsibilities:

• Lawn care: Mowing, trimming, and monitoring robotic lawn mowers
• General maintenance: Weeding in flower beds and gravel paths, picking up branches, raking or blowing leaves, and watering when needed
• Sweeping terraces, stairs, and stone surfaces; rinsing off docks when necessary
• Monitoring weather changes and ensuring outdoor furniture is covered during rain
• Handling garden equipment (leaf blower, trimmer, etc.); some heavy lifting may occur

Who we are looking for:

• A hands-on person who takes care of the property as if it were their own
• Someone who is self-driven, responsible, and flexible
• A good communicator who listens well and can solve problems proactively
• Driver’s license and access to a car are an advantage
