Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a fire protection inspector and contribute to a safer community through a meaningful mission. In the Community Protection department, we provide advice and conduct inspections to prevent fires and increase safety. As a fire protection inspector, you will be part of this work where your contribution makes a difference.

The mission of the Rescue Service is to create a safer community, where your work plays a central role. It is a responsible task, and we value quality over quantity. We actively work to ensure effective fire protection in properties in and around Gothenburg. To succeed, we use modern digital tools and closely follow developments. Technology is advancing rapidly, so we appreciate if you have an interest in digitalization and can easily adapt to new systems and working methods.

This is a flexible role where you will spend a lot of time in the field. We are looking for a person who has a professional demeanor in their contacts and a problem-solving attitude.

In this role, you will

• Conduct and document fire protection inspections, e.g., smoke ducts, chimneys, and large kitchens
• Use digital solutions to ensure fire protection in properties
• Collaborate with the team to develop and improve working methods and processes
• Provide advice and support to customers and colleagues
• Actively participate in our continuous improvement work

Qualifications

• Education as a Chimney Sweep Technician
• Driver's license B

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience in fire protection inspections
• Good digital skills and competence
• Interest and experience in legal or technical issues
