The Hematology and Nephrology Department belongs to the Northern Primary Care Area and is one of three medical departments at Örnsköldsvik Hospital. The department focuses on kidney and hematology patients as well as gynecology and other medical patients. Here, you will work in a team with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, and dietitians. Our workplace is characterized by high engagement, good collaboration, and a positive attitude. We offer an introduction and some training when you start with us, and you will gain broad knowledge in emergency medical care. Now we hope that YOU want to be part of our team this summer!

We are now looking for nursing assistants for summer vacancies at the Hematology and Nephrology Department during the period of 2026-06-08 to 2026-08-30, with a start date of 2026-06-08 or as agreed.

The job includes standard nursing tasks for a nursing assistant, such as:

• sample collection
• monitoring
• wound dressings
• general nursing care
• participation in patients' planned rehabilitation
• some documentation is included

You will work days, nights, and every other weekend.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained nursing assistant, or alternatively someone studying to become a doctor or nurse who has completed semester 4. If you are studying nursing at Umeå University, completing semester 3 is sufficient for this position.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

• Have experience in emergency medical care
