Do you enjoy outdoor work, service, and gardening?

The Church of Sweden in Sollefteå consists of twelve parishes in collaboration.

Geographically, we cover the same area as Sollefteå municipality.

We are now looking for several seasonal employees for our three work teams and nearly 15 cemeteries and burial sites. Are you interested in gardening, service, and working outdoors in all weather? Then this is for you!

You will be an important face for the Church of Sweden and the cemetery management. Our focus is to showcase well-maintained cemeteries and provide a professional reception to our visitors. The positions have different locations, but we support each other in the various work teams. You may occasionally work at another location within the parish.

We offer:

• 8 positions for 6 months
• 1 position for 4 months
• 3 positions for 2 months

Job Responsibilities

• Maintenance of green areas and graves in cemeteries, such as mowing lawns, planting flowers, and clearing gravel paths.
• Ground maintenance around the parish's other properties.
• Cleaning services

This includes operating various types of machinery, such as lawnmowers and wheel loaders. The work may involve heavy lifting and demanding physical labor, so it is important that you are in good physical condition. You have good teamwork skills and contribute to a pleasant work environment with your competence. We expect you to act independently and solve tasks based on instructions and work guidance.

As you will be an important contact point for cemetery visitors and will work from written instructions, good knowledge of Swedish – both spoken and written – is a prerequisite. You are responsible, cooperative, and meticulous.

Qualifications

• Driver's license B and access to your own car.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written.
• Good physical condition.
• Good social skills, teamwork ability, and service-oriented.

Meritorious

• Experience in similar work.
• Driver's license BE
• Experience with machinery for park and garden maintenance.

Interviews will be held on March 24 at the Sollefteå parish hall.
