Kamomillens Preschool

Kamomillens Preschool is located in the Årsta district, close to Årsta center. The preschool is situated in a residential area with beautiful green spaces nearby. The preschool has 3 departments. The preschool has a relatively newly renovated kitchen. The position involves preparing, plating, and serving meals to the preschool's departments. You will be part of a team of several kitchens within preschool and school in the Årsta area, and there will be joint meetings and gatherings with other kitchens, as well as collaboration on staffing between kitchens during holidays and sick leave. This position is a one-year temporary contract.

Job Description

Your work will include preparing and serving lunch and snacks, cleaning and disinfecting utensils, machines, and surfaces, as well as cooking and baking from scratch as much as possible. It also includes performing self-checks in accordance with applicable legislation.

Other tasks included in the role:

• Handling dishes
• Maintaining daily cleaning routines
• Placing food orders
• Managing special diets
• Working with HACCP
• Receiving deliveries
• Inventory

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with culinary training and experience from similar work. You need education and experience in food hygiene. The position requires good knowledge of special diets. A requirement for the position is good oral and written skills in Swedish. A prerequisite for the position is good IT skills, and knowledge of meal planning programs, such as Mateo or Mashie, is an advantage.

As a person, you are calm, stable, and maintain focus even in stressful situations. You collaborate well with others and interact with both children and colleagues in a responsive and respectful manner. With a service-oriented and accommodating approach, you always strive to find good solutions. You plan and organize your work efficiently and adhere to set deadlines. At the same time, you are creative and are happy to bring new ideas and methods that develop the operation.
