The Recycling Business Area is tasked with collecting and receiving waste from residents and businesses in Eskilstuna and Strängnäs, and transforming it into new resources.

We are at the forefront and strive to maintain that position. Eskilstuna was the first in the world to offer color sorting of six different types of materials to villas. The same system has also been implemented in Strängnäs. In Eskilstuna, we operate ReTuna Återbruksgalleria, which is Sweden's first shopping mall for reuse. The mall has been awarded prizes and accolades in the environmental field since its inception.

The warehouse function within the Recycling Business Area currently serves as a central service and support function for the operation. We are responsible for handling consumables such as color sorting bags, containers, chemicals, and other materials required to ensure continuous and efficient operation, and now we need you!

Your Responsibilities

The new packaging regulation raises the requirements on us, and over the next three years, we need to work on structure, accessibility, and efficiency in our flows. At the same time, we continue to develop our recycling facilities towards more automated and integrated processes; we currently have the project Color Sorting Facility (https://www.eem.se/om-oss/projekt/fargsorteringsanlaggning), which contributes to the need for reliable inventory management being of utmost importance to avoid operational stoppages. We also want to work more preventively with planned maintenance, which requires faster access to the right spare parts and a well-organized spare parts inventory.

You will:

• Ensure inventory levels and deliveries both internally and externally, ensuring good communication with both private customers and suppliers.
• Purchase office supplies and other consumables for the recycling operation, as well as spare parts for the business area's process equipment, including our color sorting facility.
• Handle invoices and prepare financial reports for the controller.
• Manage and oversee the common long-term maintenance plan.

Education and Previous Experience

We are looking for someone with an eye for detail and a sense of order, who helps create flow in everyday life and contributes to the smooth and sustainable functioning of the operation. You thrive when working with others and making things happen. If you want to take responsibility from idea to implementation, this could be the role for you.

You have:

• Post-secondary education in warehousing and logistics.
• Several years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the recycling sector, but this is not a requirement.
• A valid driver's license (B).
