The position is primarily a summer temporary position as we want you to be available to work during June, July, and August, but if you can start earlier, that is very positive!

Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our office in Östersund, you will be part of a close-knit team of about 50 people. The length of shifts varies, but they are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. The schedule also includes work on weekends.

As a patrolling guard, you are responsible for performing surveillance for several clients during your shift. You travel between clients by car and carry out various types of checks, including area surveillance, patrolling inside premises, alarm connections, and closures for clients. In this role, it is important to document your work and any deviations you encounter. The work is independent and often feels free, but with a great responsibility. The role of a patrolling guard suits you if you want a job that allows you to move around. The working hours are mainly at night.

• Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of high school
• Good knowledge of English
• Driver's license B

Meritorious if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have a civilian or military security guard training
• are a trained security guard with a valid security guard license

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you who apply are an independent person and trust your own abilities, quickly understand problems and solve them creatively. Depending on the position, security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
