Main Responsibilities
The position is a managerial role placed directly under the unit manager, which means you will plan, lead, and follow up on finance and personnel, with personnel responsibility included. As the head of the dog department, you are responsible for leading and coordinating the dog service within the unit.
You will be responsible for producing service dogs and creating conditions for conducting a qualitative dog service, as well as conducting the basic training course for service dogs and training the unit's dog handlers. You will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the unit's dog facilities and other dog-related infrastructure.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Officer's degree and OF 2, or Specialist Officer's degree and SO 7–8.
- Driver's license B.
- Experience in a managerial position.
- Good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form.
- Swedish citizenship.

We are looking for someone with a good ability to collaborate and cooperate both internally and externally. You have a strong desire to develop yourself and your area of responsibility. You are driven and have a good ability to work independently and goal-oriented. You have high integrity and are security-conscious.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Meritorious
- Previous service in security units.
- Good knowledge of applicable regulations and legislation regarding dog service within the Swedish Armed Forces.
- Experience in leadership and planning within education and professional development.
- Experience in positions with financial and personnel responsibility.
- Completed training at FHTE.
Other
The employment is a permanent full-time position that begins with a 6-month probationary period for those not currently employed by the Swedish Armed Forces.
Travel may occur in the job.
Start date: as soon as possible or by agreement.
