Main Responsibilities

The position is a managerial role placed directly under the unit manager, which means you will plan, lead, and follow up on finances and personnel, with personnel responsibility included. As the head of the management department at the logistics unit, you are responsible for leading and coordinating within the management function primarily regarding communication services and information systems at the unit. The unit is in growth and development, which will continue for several years, and your task is to actively lead the development work of the management function at the unit. The work also involves regular collaboration or coordination with other units, side units, and civilian actors.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Officer's degree and OF 2, or Specialist Officer's degree and SO 7–8.
  • Driver's license B.
  • Experience in a managerial position.
  • Good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form.
  • Swedish citizenship.

We are looking for someone with a strong ability to collaborate and cooperate both internally and externally. You have a strong desire to develop yourself and your area of responsibility. You are driven and have a good ability to work independently and goal-oriented. You have high integrity and are security-conscious.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious

  • Previous service or training at a management unit.
  • Experience within the management function at the company level in maneuver or functional battalion.
  • Experience in management and planning within training and professional development.
  • Experience in a position with financial and personnel responsibility.
  • Previous experience in unit development.

Other

The employment is a permanent full-time position that begins with a 6-month probationary period for those not currently employed by the Swedish Armed Forces.

Travel is required in the job.

Start date: as soon as possible or by agreement.
