JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of library educator, you will work specifically with preschool children to dramatize story hours.

You will also work with book discussions and other activities for children and youth. It includes driving the book bus to, among other places, adapted schools.

Your tasks will include staffing the information desk at the city library and at the branch. Furthermore, it includes the regular tasks that occur in a library.

The position is currently permanent at 60%. There is an opportunity to extend by 20% as a substitute for a colleague on parental leave during the coming year.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a pedagogical education in drama for children and youth with experience working with drama together with children and youth.

You should have an interest in working with literature aimed at children and youth. Experience working with children and youth with disabilities is an advantage.

You are responsible, communicative, and have an easy time collaborating with both colleagues, borrowers, and visitors.

You are flexible and can adapt activities to the needs and conditions of children and youth.

You have experience driving a smaller book bus and meeting children and youth outside library premises. You must have a B driver's license.
