Fleet Coordinator for Region East

We are now looking for a Fleet Coordinator for Region East, one of our most successful parts of the business. We offer and perform recycling services to customers in Stockholm and Uppsala, where we are one of the largest players in the collection of household waste. With a very high level of service, we meet daily high demands from customers in both public and private sectors.

About the role

As a Fleet Coordinator, you have a coordinating and overall responsibility for the region's vehicle fleet.

Your task is to strategically and operationally support our operations departments throughout the vehicle's lifecycle. You are expected to take the lead in identifying and specifying the need for new vehicles and are responsible, in close collaboration with our Fleet Manager, for managing both purchases and disposals.

The role requires a combination of high administrative ability and a proactive coordination responsibility.

Your main areas of responsibility:

• Workshop and personnel responsibility: You have overall responsibility for our two own workshops to ensure high availability of our vehicles.
• Quality assurance and external relations: You are responsible for contact with external workshops. Here, you need to be both tough and flexible; you set clear demands for quality and delivery even under high pressure, while maintaining business relationships.
• Inspection, safety, and safety rounds: You drive the work to optimize the condition of vehicles before inspections. Safety is the highest priority, and you actively participate in safety rounds on vehicles and work together with the operations organization to improve the quality of drivers' daily safety checks.
• Systems and analysis: You are responsible for keeping our vehicle data systems updated, training the organization in these, and performing ongoing cost analyses to optimize vehicle utilization.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with solid technical experience with trucks and heavy vehicles, likely through a background in truck workshops or a technical role within a transport company. You have a good technical understanding of vehicles and can hold professional discussions with both mechanics and suppliers.

You are an administratively skilled and communicative person who can interact naturally with all levels - from regional managers and operations leaders to drivers and workshop mechanics. You are results-oriented, goal-driven, positive, and humble, but at the same time, you have the authority required to act as a demanding party towards external partners. Your ability to plan proactively and keep documentation and follow-up organized is crucial for the role.

The position is a permanent employment with placement preferably in Länna, but alternative placement in Norrort can be discussed.
