Service Personnel for Stockholm Amphibious Regiment in Härnösand

The Swedish Armed Forces are undergoing extensive development work to build a stronger defense. The Stockholm Amphibious Regiment is seeking service personnel to support the garrison's units with assistance in port operations in Härnösand.

The work includes inspection of bunker facilities and infrastructure in the port as well as general support to operators in the harbor. The work is primarily conducted in and around Härnösand.

Qualifications

• You are a Swedish citizen.
• You hold a B driver's license for manual transmission.
• You can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and in spoken English.
• You have good physical capacity.

Meritorious

• You have knowledge of the defense sector.
• You have completed military service or have worked in the Armed Forces.
• You have documented experience working with flammable goods.
• You have completed ADR training.
• You have forklift licenses A+B.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone with a good service attitude who enjoys working both in a team and independently. The position requires you to be proactive, independent, and very organized. Good communication and collaboration skills are crucial for success and satisfaction in the role. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Other

The position is civilian. Start date as soon as possible by agreement. The position is a permanent employment that begins with a 6-month probationary period if you do not currently have a permanent position in the Armed Forces.

The Stockholm Amphibious Regiment (Amf 1) operates where water meets land and serves as the link between naval and army combat forces. The Amphibious Battalion's weapon systems allow us to operate in four dimensions: on and under the water surface, in the air, and on land. This enables us to exert control over coastal areas. The Marine Base Battalion provides logistics support to the navy's units and is both land and sea-based. Amf 1 trains soldiers, sailors, coastal rangers, and officers in various main services. Amf 1 has production responsibility for the war units. The Amphibious Battalion, Marine Base Battalion, and Marine Military Base Haninge. The unit is based in Haninge (Berga).
